In the summer of 1999, a 12-year-old named Dallas Kyle captured footage of the mythical Frogman, but no one believed it was real. Twenty years later, Dallas, now an amateur filmmaker struggling to turn his passion into a career, returns to Loveland with friends Amy and Scotty determined to obtain irrefutable proof that the Frogman exists. But what starts as an innocent documentary soon turns into a Lovecraftian nightmare as Dallas uncovers the horrific secrets hidden beneath Loveland’s idyllic surface.

Rotting Press distributes in the US. The film will reportedly receive a February 9th VHS release before landing on VOD March 8th.

Directed by Anthony Cousins (segments in Scare Package I and II) and marks his feature film directorial debut.

The “Loveland frog” that the film is based around is an actual cryptid from Ohio. The legend details how it is a humanoid frog that stands roughly 4-feet when on its hind legs. Read more about it here.
