Announced back in 2019, it looks like this project is finally moving forward. Warner Bros. recently revealed that this sequel was slated for an upcoming release and now news indicates that director Michael Chaves (The Curse of La Llorona, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) is rumored to be helming the pic.
